GROUP LESSON PROGRAM - SESSION 2 - BEGIN Nov 9th, 2008
PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE LESSON PROGRAM
Learn the foundation of badminton techniques and footwork from a badminton professional coach through a one on one or semi-private. The lessons will be customized depend on the students' level, ability, and goal. The program will cover Skill Development, Games, Footwork, Conditioning, Drills, and Strategy. The program is being coach by Richard. Richard had competed in the Canadian Badminton Open for 2002 & 2003, and has over 21 years of playing experience and over 7 years of coaching experience. Learn the proper skills to get to the next level.
The Program will consist of 7 Sessions in total. Sunday 11:15-12:00 pm
YOUTH BEGINNER BADMINTON PROGRAM (5-8 year old)
Learn the basic foundation of badminton techniques and footwork from a badminton professional coach. The program will cover Skill Development, Games, Footwork, Conditioning, Drills, and Strategy. The program is being coach by Richard. Richard had competed in the Canadian Badminton Open for 2002 & 2003, and has over 21 years of playing experience and over 7 years of coaching experience.

YOUTH BEGINNER BADMINTON PROGRAM (9-15 year old)

Personal
Fitness Program
A sound fitness program involves the
following:
Warm-up and Stretching:
-jog 5-10 minutes or bike or walk fast or stair step (your choice)
-slow static stretching with a series of different stretches (10-15 minutes)
list what stretches you will do
Flexibility Training:
-This would include what you do for a warm up and the stretches you do for a
warm down, anything more is an added bonus
Resistance Training:
- would consist of a weight lifting routine in which you lift a variety of
different weights, working on several different muscles. Each lift should be
performed 8-10 times (8-10 repetitions) and a total of either 2 or 3 sets ( a
set is accomplished when you lift one weight 8-10 times). This routine should
be performed about 3 times weekly, but not on consecutive days. (You need to
list weights you will lift.)
Cool Down and Stretching
- same as warm-up
A Well Balanced Diet
- Eating a variety of foods from all the food groups
- Keeping hydrated-drinking 8-10 8 ounce cups of water a day
- Staying away from sweets and fattening foods
